Welcome to our Cathlamet, WA, duck hunting haven on Puget Island, where the Columbia River slough creates an ideal waterfowl habitat right at our doorstep. Our comfortable three-bedroom home offers stunning views of various ducks and waterfowl, both indoors and from the wrap-around deck. Accommodating up to six guests, our retreat is perfect for hunters seeking a memorable experience. Witness river tides flowing into the backyard, especially during the king tide season.

About the Area

Cathlamet, Washington, offers an exceptional experience for duck and waterfowl hunting enthusiasts on the Columbia River. The area is part of the Pacific Flyway, making it a prime location for hunting species like mallards, Canada geese, and snow geese and more. Notable hunting spots include the Julia Butler Hansen Refuge and Puget Island, both of which provide excellent opportunities for duck and waterfowl hunting. These areas feature diverse habitats, including tidal marshes and sloughs, which attract a variety of waterfowl.

Located in Wahkiakum County, Cathlamet, Washington, sits on the banks of the Columbia River. This small town provides a perfect backdrop for hunting. Our vacation rental property is on Puget Island, just a short trip over the bridge from small town of Cathlamet. This serene island in the Columbia River is ideally situated for waterfowl, and especially, duck hunting. The area is known for its lush greenery, waterways, and abundant wildlife, making it a prime spot for outdoor activities like fishing, boating, bird watching, and duck hunting.

Cancellation and refund policy: Guest receives 100.00% if cancellation occurs at least 7 days before arrival; No refunds within 7 days of arrival. Due to the nature of being a small family owned business we are unable to make exceptions for refunds after the 7 day window. Travel insurance is offered, but not required, at the time of booking. You may also purchase your own travel insurance policy elsewhere.

We typically respond to inquiries within an hour. Once received, a quote will be emailed to you to complete your booking and reserve your dates. All reservations require a signed rental agreement, a card on file for a $250 security deposit hold, and a government-issued photo ID to be uploaded at the time of booking.
