Some types of fishing are better than others for little ones. For instance, drift boat fishing for steelhead January through March can be too cold for kids to enjoy the trip. Once the weather warms up a bit in April would be a better option.

With all of that said, you won’t find a harder working fishing guide on the river to get you those prized fish in the boat.
